This worked wonders for our toddler. He had just moved to the big boy bed, and would never sleep past 5 AM, and often got up 2-3 times at night and resisted going back to bed. He quickly grasped that orange meant he had to stay in bed, and after two days he’s quietly staying in bed. His first words when he wakes up are often “is it green?”

The controls are relatively straightforward, but the labels are tiny and low-contrast, so it takes some figuring out. We were nervous about getting this one rather than the “bunny clock”, but the colors actually work better in a dark room. I would NOT suggest this for smaller kids who can’t recognize “Orange” and “Green”, though.
